  6. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

    The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program honors outstanding youth volunteers in grades 5-12. More than 100,000 students have been recognized at the local, state and national level since the program began in 1995 — making this the United States' largest youth recognition program based solely on volunteer service.

    By November 5, applicants must complete their applications and submit them for certification to their school principal or the head of their local Girl Scout, 4-H, YMCA, American Red Cross or HandsOn Network affiliate chapter.
