2026 Ohio 4-H Forestry Wildlife Conservation Camp
Join Ohio 4-H, Hocking College, and ODNR professionals at Canters Cave 4-H Camp for a weekend of learning about forestry and wildlife education, fishing, hiking, tree climbing, outdoor survival, ODNR careers, college opportunities, and more!
- Camp will be held April 17-19, 2026, at Canters Cave 4-H Camp in Jackson, Ohio. Camp check-in will begin at 6:30 PM on April 17 and will dismiss on April 19 at 11:00 AM.
- Registration is due March30, 2026 (or until full). The registration will open soon!
- This camp is open to campers in grades 7-11.
- 4-H members in 12th grade are encouraged to apply as camp counselors for this camp.
- Applications for camp counselors are due by February 28, 2026.
- Camper Registration must be completed electronically; we can not hold spots.
- Cost is $115 per camper
- Camper Scholarships may be offered through your local Extension office or 4-H program. Please contact them directly.
- This camp is open to campers in grades 7-11.
- This camp is limited to 75 campers. Camper spots are not secured until payment is received. Please be sure to provide prompt payment. Camp spots are filled based on the date your paid registration is received. Only online registrations will be accepted. Please do NOT call or e-mail to reserve camper spots. You will receive confirmation of registration, payment options, and the health form survey upon completion of the online survey. Final confirmation of registrations and camp details will be emailed after April 1, 2026. Be sure to confirm that your email is correct in this registration survey.
- Counselor opportunities are available for this camp. Counselors must be at least 15 and have one year of camp counselor experience. Counelors-in-training (CITs) can be 14 years old.)
