Open to 8th-12th grade 4-H members, Carving New Ideas is a camping opportunity for older
youth, concentrating on the principles of critical thinking and program facilitation. Campers will
explore hands-on workshops that encourage ideation in important areas of 4-H programming,
including health, agriscience, and STEM. Participants will develop action plans to address
issues within their communities using a critical thinking model for team situations.
