4-H VIRTUAL Horse Judging Contest
Registration for this event must be made online by March 29, 2021, including payment. No late entries will be accepted for any reason. As this contest determines which contestants will represent Ohio at national contests, ONLY senior 4-H members are allowed to compete in the senior division to comply with national eligibility requirements.
The judging contest will be held online via OSU Scarlet on Saturday, April 10th in conjunction with the hippology contest. Competitors will be able to judge classes and submit oral reasons online. Juniors are required to give two sets of reasons and seniors will be required to give 3-4 sets which will be included in both total scores. The 2021 online judging contest is sponsored by the State 4-H Horse Advisory Committee. Ribbons will be awarded for the top 10 overall senior/junior teams, top 10 senior reasons, top 10 senior overall individual, and top 10 Junior Overall individuals.
