Ohio National Poultry Show

If you exhibit poultry or just love chickens, turkeys, waterfowl, and/or guineas the Ohio National is the place to go this November! The Ohio National Poultry Show is the largest Open and Junior Open poultry show in the country. The show is held at the Ohio Exposition Center, Columbus, November 14 and 15. The average show hosts 5,000 to 6,000 birds with more than 1300 entered in the Junior Show. This is a great way to see many, many breeds to help decide what kind of birds you may want as 4-H projects and/or backyard chickens. Saturday from 9:00am until 5:00pm is the best day for non-exhibitors to visit the show. People interested in buying show-quality birds should come Friday (11/13) afternoon/evening or early Saturday morning to the Sale Area to meet breeders and purchase birds. Youth 18 and under get in for free. Adult admission is $5.00 at the door.
