Registration Information:

Registration and poster must be turned in by March 1st, 2025. Mailed entries will no longer be accepted, posters must be delivered to the State Horse Clinic. Late entries will not be accepted. Both registration and poster must be turned in to the address provided on the official registration form. The registration form must be signed by the participant, parent or guardian,4-H advisor and a County Extension Professional/FFA Advisor. No posters will be accepted without a properly filled out registration form that has all required signatures.

The poster may be submitted in person at the Communications Contest or Hippology/Horse Bowl/Judging Clinic on Saturday March 1st, 2025 during the contest or clinic check-ins held at the Animal Sciences Building, 2029 Fyffe Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43210.

Event Details: For youth currently enrolled in a 4-H or FFA horse project & completed the current year's EquiSTEP by the registration deadline. The purpose of the Horse Poster Contest is to visually demonstrate 4-H and FFA equine project knowledge and to exhibit the diversity of 4-H and FFA equine projects. Posters will be judged and displayed in the Gilligan Complex from Monday, July 14^th through Wednesday, July 16^th. Posters may be picked up at the Ohio State Fair 4-H Horse Show office beginning the afternoon of Wednesday, July 16^th- Friday, July 18^th. Any posters not picked up by Friday afternoon will be recycled.
