Citizenship Washington Focus

A group of people standing around the Washington MonumentCitizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is a premier 4-H leadership experience for high school youth 4-H ages 14–18 from across the United States held in March. This immersive program empowers participants to explore, develop, and sharpen the civic engagement skills essential for becoming impactful leaders in their communities and beyond.

Through dynamic opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and inspiration alongside fellow 4-H'ers from across the country, delegates will discover their passions, strengthen their leadership abilities, and deepen their understanding of civic life.

While in Washington, D.C., participants will:

  • Visit Capitol Hill and engage directly with representatives
  • Explore career pathways
  • Build lasting connections with peers
  • Enjoy guided tours of our nation's capital
  • Participate in immersive workshops and sessions
