Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor (State) Training Workshops

4-H Shooting Sports Winter 2026 Instructor Workshop  

  • Winter Workshop 2026 is open to only Adult Instructors 
  • Camp Ohio
  • Date: February 20-22

Registration for Winter Workshop

  • Cost $115
  • Check-in: Friday, February 20, from 6:00-8:00 PM with programming starting shortly after check-in closes
  • Dismissal: Sunday, February 22, around 11:00 AM. Full-time participation is required for certification.
  • Registration deadline January 15
    • Payment can be made online with a Credit/Debit Card. Space is not confirmed until payment is received. If you cannot pay online, you must submit payment through your county extension office. 
    • Please be sure to have your health information and picture ready at the time of registration. Health questions are part of the survey.

  • This workshop will offer the following Disciplines: Archery, Coordinator, Pistol, Living History, Rifle, Shotgun, Living History, Hunting & Wildlife. These do not require previous trainings.

  • Spring Workshop 2026 is open to both Adult Instructors and Junior Leaders
  • Canter's Cave 4-H Camp
  • Date: April 24-26

  • Cost $115
  • Check-in: Friday, April 24, from 6:00-8:00 PM with programming starting shortly after check-in closes
  • Dismissal: Sunday, April 26, around 11:00 AM. Full-time participation is required for certification.
  • Registration deadline coming soon 
    • Payment can be made online with a Credit/Debit Card (the preferred method). We are requesting there be no checks for payment at this time.
    • Please be sure to complete the Health form survey that will be sent to you upon the completion of the registration survey.
