Ohio 4-H Cloverbuds brought creativity, curiosity, and teamwork together during the 2026 Cloverbud Engineering Adventure! Formerly known as the Cloverbot Challenge, this annual STEM experience gives young 4-H members the opportunity to work cooperatively in teams to solve problems using science, engineering, technology, and math skills.
Each year, a new adventure theme challenges Cloverbuds to research, design, build, and share their ideas. Teams create a working model representing their solution, develop a poster to explain their discoveries, and present their projects to reviewers. Participants also have the opportunity to learn from other Cloverbud teams, take part in hands-on STEM activities, and celebrate their accomplishments together.
This year’s adventure theme, “America Through Our Eyes,” encouraged Cloverbuds to explore the history, traditions, communities, and celebrations that make America special. Through creativity and problem-solving, participants designed models representing what America means to them and shared their unique perspectives with others. 
The showcase events held across Ohio provided Cloverbuds with the opportunity to display their projects, connect with other 4-H members, and celebrate the hard work that went into their designs. From exploring important landmarks and traditions to highlighting personal experiences and ideas, each project showcased the imagination and teamwork of Ohio’s youngest 4-H members.
The Cloverbud Engineering Adventure continues to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to develop confidence, strengthen collaboration skills, and discover the excitement of STEM learning. Through hands-on experiences like this, Cloverbuds are building skills that will help them continue exploring, creating, and solving problems in the future.
