4-H Cloverbuds & State Fair Workshop
Friday, May 20, 2016 - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center Auditorium, Columbus Campus
This is a professional development workshop open to all county 4-H Professionals
The morning is devoted to the 4-H Cloverbud Program and presented by members of the Pre-adolescent/Cloverbuds Design Team.
- Topics include Cloverbud foundations, ages & stages, Cloverbud myth busters, cooperative vs. competitive Learning.
- Three - 30 minute breakout rotation sessions for all to attend; volunteer training, Cloverbud resources, organizing and implementing Cloverbud events.
The afternoon will focus on Preparations for a Positive 4-H State Fair Experience and presented by, Allen Auck, Kirk Bloir, Misc. State Staff Members.
- Sharing updates and information to help county 4-H professionals prepare their members for a positive State Fair experience.
- Topics include non-livestock project judging, livestock, dogs and companion animals, offsite events and online registering.
No cost to register - Lunch will be provided
