The Ohio 4-H Foundation invites alumni, friends, supporters, and community partners to join us for one of the most inspiring evenings of the year, the 2026 Celebration of Youth. Set for Thursday, October 15, at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus, Celebration of Youth brings together the Ohio 4-H family for an unforgettable night of food, fellowship, and philanthropy, all in support of Ohio youth.
This annual event is a chance to celebrate the impact of 4-H while helping ensure future generations have access to the life-changing experiences, leadership opportunities, and hands-on learning that Ohio 4-H provides. Every dollar raised helps extend the reach of Ohio 4-H programs to youth across the state.
There are still many ways to support this year's event. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are encouraged to become event sponsors, donate auction items, purchase tickets, or participate in the online auction. Sponsorships help make Celebration of Youth a success while demonstrating a commitment to investing in Ohio's young people. The final day to donate an auction item is September 18 and to become a sponsor is September 24.
The excitement begins before the event itself with the Celebration of Youth online auction, which will open in early October. Supporters from across Ohio will have the opportunity to bid on unique experiences, one-of-a-kind items, and special packages while helping advance the mission of Ohio 4-H. Whether you attend the event in person or participate online, the auction offers everyone a chance to make a difference.
This year’s event will feature our VIP Guest, Nina Day, a Champion for The Kids Mental Health Foundation. Together with her husband, Coach Ryan Day, they have a first-hand understanding of the vital connection between physical health and mental health. Together, they are working to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.
We are also thrilled to announce that Dr. Mindy Brashears, Under Secretary for Food Safety at the United States Department of Agriculture, will serve as the keynote speaker for the upcoming Ohio 4-H Celebration of Youth!
Dr. Brashears brings an incredible wealth of experience and leadership in agriculture, food safety, science, and public service. Her commitment to strengthening our food system and investing in the future of agriculture makes her an inspiring voice for the young people, families, supporters, and leaders who make Ohio 4-H so impactful.
