A.B. Graham - Ohio Historical Marker Dedication - April 29, 2013

Alumni, Donors, Business and Community partners, University Administration, Senator Tavares and the Graham family gathered on Monday, April 29th for the unveiling of the newest Ohio Historical Marker honoring A.B. Graham and the 4-H Movement and the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H center on the campus of The Ohio State University.

Jim and Gerry Graham admire Ohio's marker honoring Jim's grandfather, A.B. Graham.

Located at 2201 Fred Taylor Dr, the Ohio Historical Marker sits in front Ohio State's first ever "Green" building. The "Green" building design strives to balance environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, occupant comfort and well-being, and community sensitivity.

This state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2008, serves as the home of Ohio 4-H, the headquarters for cutting-edge research in youth development, teaching resources and service opportunities.

We remember that the 4-H program is rooted in the land-grant mission of The Ohio State University - and those roots extend out into each of Ohio's 88 counties.

Maybe you know a child who is currently in 4-H? Perhaps you saw student 4-H projects at your local county fair this year?

Local 4-H programs are supported by the Ohio State University Extension offices and volunteers, many of whom participated in 4-H in some capacity themselves, and by friends like you.

Please consider giving a gift to 4-H.

Your generosity today will help create those 4-H memories of tomorrow.

Tell us your story!

Did 4-H make a difference in your life?  We want to hear your story.

Do you get together with other 4-H alumni such as for an annual reunion or to collaborate on local projects?

Send us a letter or e-mail and tell us how your experiences have shaped your life.
